Nursery Helper: Assist childcare worker in caring for babies and toddlers. Set-up/Clean-up: Arrive early to set up our worship space. Clean up after the service, returning items to storage. Panera Pick-up: Pick up the church's order from a Panera near you on Sunday morning. Greeter: Welcome people, distribute bulletins, and orient guests to the space. Usher: Pass offering baskets & assist with traffic flow during communion. Acolyte: Carry the cross during the processional and recessional. Assist the clergy during the service as instructed. Reserved for youth volunteers. Chalice Bearer: Confirmed parishioners willing to assist with the distribution of wine during communion. Altar Clean-up: Properly rinse, wash, and store the communion vessels after the service. Bring bread and wine forward during the offertory. Reader: Read Scripture as instructed during the service. Security Team “Porter”: The security team serves in the ancient role of the “porters,” guarding “the doors of the church” to help ensure a safe worshiping environment. Prayer Ministry: Faithfully pray for requests throughout the week, lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People, and serve as a prayer minister during communion. Hospitality Coordinator: Coordinate special events like potlucks and newcomers dinners. Sound Team: Arrive early to set up sound equipment and run soundboard for the service. Music: Sing or play piano, violin, cello, guitar, or other instrument as musical accompaniment. Children's Chapel Teacher/Helper: Teach lesson or assist in Children's Chapel. Training and background check required. Youth Ministry: Help plan youth gatherings and events. Training and background check required.
